《止斋记》系段从周撰文，由赵孟頫书写。卷后虽无题跋，但亦是赵书传世墨极为珍贵的一卷。通篇字形俊秀飘逸，而笔笔又谨守法度，体现了他极深的行楷功力，乃至后学无法超越。
此卷为上海博物馆藏版，赵孟頫书于至大元年，即公元1308年书写，书家时年五十五岁。卷前有清代大学者俞樾篆书的“止斋记”三个大字，卷尾有其隶书“松雪真迹、虞轩珍藏、曲园题首”十二字，实为珍贵。
